Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Heston Primary School. Our school is a great place to learn, achieve and flourish. It provides a happy, safe and supportive environment, where everyone feels valued. We are committed to help every child excel and reach their potential academically and in extracurricular activities. Furthermore, we aim to instil a strong moral compass, enabling them to act ethically and honourably. At Heston we believe learning is a preparation for life....

NURSERY 2020
Thank you for submitting applications for a place in our Nursery this September.   If you did not apply for a place by 1st May, we may still be able to accommodate your child. Application forms can be downloaded from the Local Authority website either as a PDF document or a Word document.  Once completed, these should either be emailed or posted direct to the school; please remember to attach your supporting documents - a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of your address (preferably the current year’s Council Tax bill).  The link to access the form is https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/info/20028/primary_admissions/74/nursery_admissions
Should you require further information, please contact us by telephone 020 8572 5597, or by emailing office@heston-pri.hounslow.sch.uk

Hounslow’s Promise –Connecting Kids at Home project

The Hounslow’s Promise local education charity is working with local schools to help provide computers or laptops to local school pupils who are having to study at home but don’t have access to a computer or the internet. It is also supported by the London Borough of Hounslow and Hounslow Chamber of Commerce.

If you have a spare older PC or laptop which you no longer use, and would be willing to donate to children in Hounslow, please email info@hounslowspromise.org with your name, contact details and a brief description of the computer available.

These would be cleaned down to factory reset, and then allocated to schools to reimage and roll out to their students based on need.

Currently, the Government are prioritising Secondary schools, but the hope is the project will have capacity in the coming weeks to respond to Primary needs too.

More information about this scheme is available at http://www.hounslowspromise.org/connectingkidshome.html
